DBB double ball valve are the double close, double break and release function valve. When both ends of the valve are under pressure at the same time, the medium in the valve cavity can be discharged from the valve blowdown or vent valve, and the upstream and downstream medium of the valve will not continue to enter the valve cavity, and almost double block. When the middle chamber is at high pressure, the valve seat can automatically release the pressure, that is, release. They are applicable to aviation kerosene, light oil, natural gas, liquefied gas, pipeline gas, chemical medium, etc.

Design standard

The main construction features of JLPV DBB double ball valve are following:
1. 1PC, 3PC and all welded body construction.
2. They can be designed as floating ball and fixed ball.
3. Full open or full close double block blowdown (DBB) design.
4. Double valve four seal design ensures the sealing performance of the valve body, with zero leakage.
5. Anti-flying stem, emergency injection system of seat and stem, fire safe and anti-static design, and the valve body is provided with a middle cavity to discharge device.


The range of JLPV DBB double ball valve design is as follows:
1. Size: 2” to 24”   DN50 to DN600
2. Pressure: Class 150lb to 2500lb  PN10-PN420
3. Material: carbon steel, stainless steel and other common metal materials.
NACE MR 0175 anti-sulfur and anti-corrosion metal materials.
4. Connection ends: ASME B 16.5 in raised face(RF), Flat face(FF) and Ring Type Joint (RTJ)
ASME B 16.25 in screwed end.
5. Face to face dimensions: conform to ASME B 16.10.
6. Temperature: -29℃ to 425 ℃
