Triple Offset Butterfly valves are the valves which use disc type butterfly plate to rotate 90 ° back and forth to open, close or adjust the medium to control the flow. The They have not only simple structure, small volume, light weight, low material consumption, small installation size, small driving torque, simple and rapid operation, but also good flow regulation function and closing sealing characteristics. Triple Offset Butterfly Valves  are widely used in metallurgy, electric power, petrochemical industry, water supply and drainage, municipal construction and other industrial pipelines with medium temperature ≤ 425 ℃. They are used to regulate flow and cut off fluid.

Design standard

The main construction features of JLPV triple offset butterfly valve are following:

1. Three eccentric structure and two-way sealing performance

The valve stem axis deviates from the disc center and the body center at the same time, and the rotation axis of the valve seat has a certain angle with the channel axis of the valve body. The disc seal only contacts with the valve seat when it is in the closed position, which makes the valve seat and butterfly plate almost wear-free. A torque force is generated during the closing process, which makes the valve seat have the sealing function of closing more tightly.

2. The seat of triple offset butterfly valve is body seat or overlay seat, which is made of different materials.

The body seat structure of triple offset butterfly valve is to install the seat on the body. Compared with the disc and seat, it greatly reduces the opportunity for the seat to contact the medium directly, thus reducing the degree of erosion and prolonging the service life of the seat. The surfacing process of triple offset butterfly valve is carried out in strict accordance with the approved welding process WPS standard. After surfacing, heat treatment, machining, thorough cleaning and inspection will be carried out for the welding surface according to the requirements before assembly.

3. Replaceable seat design

The valve seat is composed of stainless steel sheet and graphite sheet. This structure can effectively prevent the influence of small solid in the medium and the sealing surface engagement caused by thermal expansion. Even if there is small damage, there will be no leakage.

4. Anti-flying stem design

The packing of the stem is not easy to be damaged and the sealing is reliable. It is fixed with the taper pin of the disc, and the extension end is designed to prevent the stem from bursting out when the valve rod is accidentally broken at the connection of the valve rod and the butterfly plate.

5. Seat: soft seal and hard seal
