A pipe can be branched into two or more pipes using a butt-welding spool, which joins pipes. The two categories are identical diameter and varied diameter. The inner pipe openings of the reducing cross-way are different in size, and the connecting pipe diameter of the main pipe is larger than that of the branch pipe. The connecting pipe openings of an equal-diameter cross are the same size; pay attention to distinguish between the branch pipe and the main pipe. In order to form butt welding crosses, hot pressing and hydraulic bulging procedures are typically used. Branch pipes are expanded using hydraulic bulging, a forming technique that compensates the axial orientation of metal components. The machinery has a huge tonnage and may be used to produce materials like low-carbon steel, low-alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum. The purpose of hot press forming is to stretch the branch pipe by flattening a tube blank that is larger than the diameter of the butt-welding cross to approximately the size of the butt-welding cross and opening a hole at the part of the stretched branch pipe; the tube blank is heated before being loaded into the forming mold; The tube blank is radially compressed by the pressure, and under the stretching of the die, the metal flows in the direction of the branch pipe during the radial compression process, forming the branch pipe. Low carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel are all appropriate materials for hot press forming because of their extensive material adaptability. To guarantee consistent product quality, all processing steps must adhere to the necessary norms and laws. Crosses made by butt welding can be categorized according on the materials used, the manufacturing technique, and the manufacturing standards. To ensure the use effect and safety performance of a butt welding cross, elements like the use environment and pipeline pressure must be taken into account.
